Refund and cancellation policy

A Doorpitch campaign is a set of individual sends. Each send is a cake, a printed card and a delivery to a named person at an investor's office. Because each send is made to order, this policy works per cake.
Before a cake is prepared
If an investor pauses gifts, or their office cannot accept a delivery, before your cake has been prepared, you choose on your campaign page: swap that cake to another matched investor at no cost, or cancel it for a full refund of that cake's price.
After a cake is prepared
Once the kitchen has prepared a cake (you receive the “Ready” photo), it cannot be cancelled or refunded, as it has been made specifically for that delivery.
Failed deliveries
If we cannot deliver a prepared cake for a reason within our control, we refund that cake in full. If a delivery is refused by the office, or the address you supplied was wrong, the cake is not refundable; we will tell you what happened.
Campaign cancellation
You may cancel any cakes that have not yet been prepared by writing to hi@doorpitch.in with your campaign. Those cakes are refunded in full. Prepared cakes are not.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 to 7 working days of approval. Razorpay processing times apply.
